Golden Globe nominee Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992. Though her birth name is Destiny Hope, she changed her name to Miley Ray at the age of sixteen. Her father is Billy Ray Cyrus, a well-known country singer and her mother is Tish Cyrus. After watching her father`s career, Miley decided to start acting, and made a small appearance on her dad`s tv show "Doc" in 1993. She also appeared as Ruthie (Age 8) in the 2003 movie "Big Fish". Miley now stars in Disney Channel`s Emmy-nominated hit show "Hannah Montana", along with her dad.
